It started with a vision . . . and led to a long-time marriage of the landscape and the arts. 47 years ago Egyptian sculptor, Nassan Gobran, and a group of visionaries, inspired by the natural beauty of Sedona, saw the need for a place where artists could work and teach together - an arts center. The "art barn' soon became the community's creative and social hub.

Today the Sedona Arts Center is a continuing legacy to those early ideals. The Members Gallery in Uptown Sedona (open 10am - 5pm daily) houses the largest selection of local artists work, the Nassan Gobran School of the Arts offers nearly 300 diverse arts education classes each year and the organization hosts many special events such as the monthly 1st Thursday - Evening in the Galleries series in conjunction with the Sedona Gallery Association as well as the Sedona Plein Air Festival in October.
